Thank you very much Andy! The full permanent version of the album can be found here: http://kevinbryce.bandcamp.com/album/the-night-land-preview-copy It still has placeholder art for the time being, but other than that, it's finished. The full download comes with a couple of surprises ;-) I am now working on a series of videos to accompany the album.
I've been struck with how similar in style Hal's work is to the Night Land atmosphere. That piece is from another larger work, but it represented my vision of the Night Land so well, I asked Hal if I could use it :)
Videos! yum. And I daresay you have it all in hand but if you're looking for good art you do know there is loads of artwork on the main site? I can't speak for the artists but I can put you in contact with many of them. See http://www.thenightland.co.uk/nightart.html and the "other galleries" linked from there. Apologies if this is an impertinence
Congratulations to this man.

Original
in that it could be a picture illustrating some of the Darkening stories on our website but is not in the original NIGHT LAND

DeleteFair enough. It's not an exact match to the conditions in the Night Land (too much sunlight) but the "feel" is definitely appropriate.

I am two minutes in and it's sounding just lovely!
ReplyDeleteReminds me very much of German group, Tangerine Dream.
ReplyDeleteThat was a compliment, by the way.
ReplyDeleteThanks Brett, I love Tangerine Dream. High praise :)
